 I had a SIPP with True Potential and was curious to see if I could directly invest in commercial property. True Potential did not facilitate this and I thought the idea of directly investing in a commercial property was dead in the water. I went to AFL for advice, and they not only provided me with mortgage insurance and critical illness cover, they also provided me with an income protection plan in case I was off work with a short term accident or illness. All of this was for the same monthly price that the bank had quoted me for basic mortgage insurance. I couldn't believe it.
